What is the most common issue you run into when printing game models, and how do you usually fix it? I'm thinking of things like broken geometry, inverted normals, or missing thickness.

The most common issue I run into isn’t broken geometry or even inverted normals—it’s walls so thin they turn into tissue paper after slicing, especially on joint areas or claws. I fix that by running a thickness check in the slicer and adding extra shells manually before export. For a recent kaiju model I printed from https://www.gambody.com/premium/megalon-kaiju, the original file had perfect normals but the wing edges were vanishing on my printer. I ended up splitting the wings, thickening them to 1.2mm, and re-meshing with basic subdivision. That stopped the cracking during cooling. Flipping normals is a quick fix in any mesh tool, but missing thickness kills more prints than people admit—especially on tails or horn tips. Test with a single wall preview first.
