New Walking Paths at TMC
Help Pave the Path.
Dear Devotee,
With heartfelt gratitude, we thank you for your generous support of the Help Pave the Path project at Tathāgata Meditation Center. Because of your Dana—and because we successfully reached our fundraising target—the Women’s Walking Path Project is now complete and already supporting daily walking meditation practice. The total cost of this project was $32,000, made possible through the collective generosity of devoted supporters like you.
For decades, the women’s section had no dedicated walking paths. Today, there are 11 newly paved paths, enhanced with lighting for early-morning and evening safety, along with newly planted trees that offer shade, beauty, and a sense of serenity. These paths were completed in time for our March 2026 retreat and are now an integral part of daily practice.
Last year alone, TMC hosted over 300 yogis across 160 retreat days. With approximately seven hours of walking meditation per person each day, practitioners collectively take hundreds of thousands of steps—steps now supported by the paths you helped make possible.
Each step moves us toward enlightenment.
Each step adds to our merit.
This project could not have been completed in such a short period of time without your generosity and commitment. The merit of your Dana will be joyfully shared with you, your family, relatives, friends, and all living beings. Your support will continue to benefit women practitioners and future generations of meditators for many years to come.
With deep appreciation and blessings,
Tathāgata Meditation Center
