Buddha Day Ceremony 2026

Dear Devotees,

We would like to invite you to the Buddha-Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, at the Tathāgata

Meditation Center. Every year, Tathāgata Meditation Center (TMC), following the Buddhist tradition,

organizes the ceremony to commemorate the Buddha.

As you know, the Buddha was born, attained enlightenment, and passed away on the full moon day of

May. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for us to reflect on the rare appearance of the Buddha

in the world, his enlightenment, and his teachings.

Coming to the ceremony, devotees will have an opportunity to take the five precepts, be blessed with

chanting from the Sangha, listen to Dhamma talk, share merits to all beings, and lastly water the

Buddha statue under the Bodhi Tree.

The ceremony program is as follows:

         10:30 A.M.: Arrival of devotees

         11:00 A.M.: Lunch

         12:30 P.M.: Buddha-Day Ceremony

          2:30 P.M.: Adjournment
