Buddha-Day Ceremony (LỄ TAM-HỢP)
SUNDAY May 7, 2017
We would like to invite you to the Buddha-Day Ceremony on Sunday May 7th, 2017 at the Tathagata Meditation Center. Every year, Tathagata Meditation Center (TMC) following the Buddhist tradition organizes the ceremony to commemorate the Buddha.
As you know, the Buddha was born, attained enlightenment and passed away on the full moon day of May. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for us to reflect on the rare appearance of the Buddha in the world, his enlightenment and his teachings.
Coming to the ceremony, devotees will have an opportunity to take five precepts, be blessed with chanting from the Sangha, listen to Dhamma talk and share merits to all beings.
The ceremony program is as follows:
10:30 A.M.: Arrival of devotees
11:00 A.M.: Lunch
12:30 P.M.: Buddha-Day Ceremony
2:30 P.M.: Adjournment
We hope that many of devotees will be able to participate in the Buddha-Day Ceremony. We look forward to welcoming you. May you all be well, happy and peaceful!
